A Lean Six Sigma Champion determines the strategy for the deployment of Lean Six Sigma Program and sets the business objectives with the Master Black Belt. Lean Six Sigma Champions training requirements cover those outlined in ISO18404 and ISO13053-1. A Lean Six Sigma Champion is likely to be a senior member of the organisation e.g. director or a head of quality, in a role carries a large degree of influence within the organisation. The champions role will determine the strategy for the deployment of Six Sigma throughout the organisation and,be responsible for setting and promoting business objectives with regards to the Lean Six Sigma program in alignment with organisational strategies and policy in consultation with the Master Black Belt.
